The Eagle Huntress

In 2014 photos of 13 year old Ashol-Pan hunting with her pet Golden Eagle in Mongolia went viral
The production was completed by Kissaki Films
Filming was completed in 2014 and 2015

The film then appeared in its original format at The Sundance Film Festival on Sunday 24 January 2016, where Sony purchased the rights

Daisy Ridley was shown this first version of the completed film and initially agreed to provide narration
The narration was completed on 21 April 2016

Sony negotiated a contract with CAA promoting Daisy as Executive Producer, which gave the documentary film greater public exposure

The Eagle Huntress was released in the UK on Friday 16 December 2016

The film was submitted for the consideration of the British Academy of Film and Television Arts,
BAFTA, in 2017
It was nominated in the Documentary Film category of the Film Awards
